ABOUT

Seeking bass guitarists who are easy going, have a level of musical confidence and would be interested to form a Rock n Soul covers band based on the Gold Coast.

We are excited to bring this style of music to life as we feel it represents the perfect fun, party, dance music we would enjoy playing. We also feel its the right kind of music to get a wide audience moving, dancing and connecting at weddings, private / corporate events and pubs.

We are aiming to cover the original Rock n soul artists like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder with equal mix of recent artists carrying the torch like Alabama Shakes, Teskey Brothers and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings to name a few.

Our original members include a saxophonist, piano/ trumpet player and drummer. We have semi-professional and professional experience playing in various groups in previous years from rock, jazz, funk, soul, originals and ska. And have recently secured a lead vocalist, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist.

We are ideally seeking 20’s-40’s yo range with final lineup to have a mix of ages and gender to help keep us relevant to our wide audience as we grow.

We are open to varied levels of experience, but ideally people who would excited to bring this style of music to life. We would also like a commitment to weekly rehearsals (Upper Coomera at this stage) , good communication so that together we can produce something special while keeping it fun.
