ABOUT

I'm a 56 yr old male looking to put a three or four piece band together playing in drop C/D standard. My tastes are wide and varied but I've got a thing for exploring heavy music.

I'm a pretty low key individual, a bit introverted at times and can be a bit shy when I first meet people but open up when I get to know them. I don't bring any pretensions to playing or performing. I'm just looking to connect with like minded people to play some covers, originals and continue to grow musically.

I'm not keen on being limited by genres but I guess my interest falls in the middle somewhere of punk and metal. I grew up in Punk/Hardcore in Canberra in the early 80's and broadened my appreciation to a diversity of heavy music in the late 80's and 90's playing in a few bands in the ACT over that time.

I've also uploaded some pretty rough demo sketches of some ideas I'm playing around with to give people an idea of where my writing and playing direction is at.
