Hey, I'm a musician studying a bachelors of creative arts in music at the University of Wollongong.
I've been playing drums since I was nine back in 2013 but quit in 2016 for whatever reason. I didn't touch music again until 2020 where I picked up a ukulele during Year 10 music class.
After playing ukulele for a few months I upgraded to acoustic guitar. Since then I made guitar my main instrument, picking up electric guitar also. I learnt incredibly fast, probably due to my already sound rhythmic understanding from drumming. (I was on barre chords within a week, was comfortable playing them after 2 weeks)
I mainly learnt chords and rhythm sections as I enjoyed performing vocals with guitar. Rhythm guitar with vocals is still my forte today but I sometimes practise lead stuff.
I have had a naturally good singing voice since I was little and find that vocals come quite easily to me :]
Recently I started getting back into drums at Uni. I am looking at getting my own drum kit at some point.
But yeah that is me. Consider me for your local band maybe? I'll play anything honestly :)
