I've been playing music for about 20 years, have a bachelor in contemporary performance for the guitar, recently picked up drums again. For some reason have just never pursued being in a band. Kinda just got used to working full time and never put in the effort/found the people to get a band going.
Currently have a metal project with a mate that needs scream vocals and bass, but also wouldn't mind just joining a band.
Played a few live shows at uni, got great marks on my final recital, but finding metal musicians that aren't already in bands and busy is tough.
I work full time and have a dog, but can definitely work things to be flexible to make something work.
