Red Sword is the name given to my musical incarnations. Ive been doing a type of one person producer indie/independent/electronic thing for...well. lets just say: quite some time. Im interested in all sorts of collaboration, right at the moment Im trying to pull togther a few live sets, so keen to find singers, guitar, bass, keyboards/synth jockey, or maybe another person doing a similar stunt, we could make a double act and back each other. Big consideration is that Im quite old, but doing comparatively non mainstream stuff, so im a musical generation refugee oh dear. but playing with an old fart might not appeal to the youngsters. Please let me know if youd like to cook up some simple moddy live sounds. ive got eclectic influences, ill get some cronology: neal young, bob dylan, television, david byrne, eno, led zep, australian 80s music, electro-soul from 90s, all sorts of 80-90s things drones, beck, prince, massive attack, madonna (serious), maybe gnarles barkley, faithless, portisheadsoup, i like some modrn african music , eryka badu, i have some favourite women chan marshall, PJ, patti smith, bjork, chrissy amphlett!
