Fledgling Aussie band Quantum Electric Monk debuts with it’s heart-wrenching single, ‘Left in the Dark Alone’.
SYDNEY - Emerging Australian rock, pop and alternative band Quantum Electric Monk release their powerful debut single, ‘Left in the Dark Alone’, on November 28 2025 via SoundCloud streaming worldwide on all major services.
The track, written by composer/songwriter Philip Nettleton, delves into the anguish of love lost through the eyes of a young woman whose partner walked out on her six months earlier.
‘Left in the Dark Alone’ is a raw and emotional portrayal of sorrow, mourning, depression and loss. In the accompanying music video of the same name, produced by the band itself, viewers witness the protagonist turn her back on the house that she can no longer support emotionally or financially, walking away forever.
Quantum Electric Monk’s song is a unique blend of catchy melody, subtle baseline and haunting vocals.
