I'm wanting to pursue an original metal project. I'm looking for similar minded humans who like a particular type of metal/ hard rock and want to apply their style and skills in something I would like to describe as "a little different". Have a listen to to my tracks for context. I'm just putting the feelers out there to get an idea if anyone has interest in the kind of project I want to create - I do not expect anything to come of it but I need to be able to say that at least I tried. Optimism is the prelude to disappointment.
The key thing I need is someone who can actually sing. I'm bored of growls and, more generally, modern metal vocals. I'm looking for a more hard rock voice with attitude and conviction to be applied in a (loosely speaking) heavy metal context.
Guitarists of sufficient skill level will be as easy to find as someone wearing a black t-shirt at a metal gig. The right influences, background, attitude and intelligence might make it a bit trickier to find but we will see.
