Looking to join a duet/ trio or band.

I am a vocalist, soloist & lyricist (Pinksta) that performs 4 genres including covers (Reggae, soul funk, blues and Afro pop).
As a soloist, I am looking to join a 2ND band/ trio/duet that share love for music, have fun and join people who do not have an ego, people who are respectful and mature. I am also a lead vocalist for a known local band ( Swaussyfire) that comes together when no session commitments of each individual are on the way given that most members play in 1-2 bands. We are regulars at community -inclusive festivals, Home of the Arts (HOTA) Gold Coast, Mount Gravatt Marketta and perform at private functions.

As a culturally diverse and inclusive band, we share passion for fun music, we write our own songs, we cover other songs, perform the above genres with commitment to respecting difference, love people and have interest in African pop music, the old style happy soul -blues and reggae tone music.

About the band leader/ vocalist:
Pinksta- singer / songwriter and an APRA/ AMCOS member who has had her music played in Bay FM ( African sounds) & SBS 93.3FM. Style of song writing is very versatile ranging from Funk, Afro pop, soul, R N B, reggae & blues.

The six piece band ( Percussions, lead vocalist, keys, bass, lead and drummer) now comes together when no session commitments of each individual are on the way and as the need for the band arises and/ or is booked.

Gigs played --- mainly weekends Or nights including starting as an opening band for touring performers or bands including the GC arts centre now HOTA.

I have my own professional PA sytem including body mics/ seperate mics, stage sound & lighting, fall back and hand percussions
