I like to create emotive and strong music that tells a story. I play/record all my own instruments and use a variety of software to create high quality audio productions.

A dark and brooding idea with layered drums (NI® Battery and Toontrack® Superior Drummer™) and multiple atmospheric pulsating synths lay the groundwork for a tension building experience. Using NI® Komplete and KORE 2 to layer multiple VST instruments and effects together this track is another example of weaving my sound design into my music. This is my work in the electronic / goth / gothic-industrial genre but also definitely suitable for soundtrack and cinematic / game use.

This track is a montage of four short original compositions with ideas and sketches in the soundtrack genre. Sound design and atmospheric samples offset the delicate notes of the piano and glockenspiel. The layered strings section paints vivid cinematic imagery like a somber scene in a film. I used a soprano boys choir for the final outro as the glockenspiel plays out a sad melody like a children’s toy music box. This montage takes inspiration from various film soundtracks including One Hour Photo and the new DUNE Trilogy (by Hanz Zimmer).

A layered synth melody and analogue synth pad build a haunting sound of foreboding with the arpeggiated synth bass carrying the listener toward their doom. This is my work in the electronic / goth / gothic-industrial genre… but also suitable for a scary video or video game level.

Deep thumping kick bass driven beat commands gravity to the track, telling a story of importance. A delayed percussive lead synth cuts through the mix with added synth echoes and harmonics. The strings section / arrangement adds a distinctive cinematic feel so this is definitely a soundtrack genre track.
