ABOUT

I've been playing since I was a kid on Brisbane's southside and have lived in New York, toured the northern hemisphere, and earned two U.S. gold records. These days I have a home studio and am currently involved in several projects. Despite having a family, a full time job, and a few things on the boil I'm feeling a little underwhelmed and am always on the lookout for something new to do and new people to bounce ideas off of. Looking for people who are into making a racket but aren't afraid to be melodic, who are self motivating, don't mind in person writing sessions, and are able to wood-shed, write, and track ideas independently as the best creative partnerships I've been involved with involve a variety of perspectives and ideas. Not big on pushing for gigs as am not trying to impress anybody. No grand plan other than to continue to enjoy, playing and writing,

Stooges, Birthday Party, Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Nada Surf, Einsturzende Neubauten, Deep Purple, Helmet, Quicksand, Handsome, Cop Shoot Cop, Union Carbide Productions, Jesus Lizard, ACDC etc. Truth be told, though I like most of these artists it doesn't mean that I can play like them.
