Hailing from a small town in the Blue Mountains of Australia called ‘Leura’, Perrine Elise’s band Leuras formed in San Francisco during the peak of the pandemic. After a 2 year hiatus from her first show, Leuras is back with a soon-to-be-released EP recorded at SF’s legendary Hyde Street Studios.
?Leuras puts on an intimate and emotional show, recently headlining venues like Amado’s, Smiley’s Saloon and performing at Davis Music Festival 2022, sharing bills with national and regional acts like Josiah Johnson (founder of The Head and the Heart), Zelma Stone, Andrew St. James, Idle Joy, Nate Budroe, and Ambrose Getz.
?Leuras pairs heartfelt lyrics with ephemeral melodies with guitar-forward, overdriven psychedelia and a twist of nostalgic country jangle.
