ABOUT

I'm brought up in the celtic folk scene with traditional Australian folk songs and now I write comic and serious political activist songs in that kind of style - some original tunes, some re-used. In terms of raw musical talent I'm no prodigy but I'm pretty accomplished at playing my instruments and I do claim to be good at lyrics.

I'm looking to form a band to play radical songs of the social change movement - some of my stuff and some of yours and other people's. I'm imagining a biggish group of people with a bit of a flexible line-up so we can do gigs in different areas with whoever's able to make it on the night. But still a committed group with worked-out arrangements and a high standard of performance.
