GRUNGE (and STP, Collective Soul, Bush) Alternative Rock (Faith No More, NIN), Aussie 90s Rock (Screaming Jets, Baby Animals etc), Classic british rock NWOBHM, 90s metal, nu metal & ARTPOP with groovy toms & syncopation like Kate Bush & Tori Amos.
Love their influences too, Bowie, Joel, Springsteen, Clapton, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac. Anything with a good groove really. Anything but blast beats
