ABOUT

Percussion driven music that is structured but largely improvised, with a West African influence....so expect the unexpected. A gathering of musicians who enjoy an evening of musical experimentation in the company of interesting people, good food and wine...and no audience. Sometimes fire twirling. Sometimes belly dancing. Most musos camp on site overnight. Sometimes we prepare for gigs....

Seeking guitarists to join SUMO as our guest, for another exclusive in-house musical soiree.
This chapter of SUMO will still be improvised, but more structured with set introductions, breaks and codas, and creative in between.
The evening is also social with breaks for food and wine.
There is no audience....only the musicians and their partners are invited.
