An original song I wrote a couple of weeks ago - Although it's designated Country I used a Blues progression throughout and left out the little bass runs which do so much to define Country. It's just a very rough demo recorded in a bedroom - but you'll get the idea of my voice and a little of my style.

ABOUT

I'm a 50 something guy who's been a professional musician all my life. Currently I'm doing solo projects and writing a heap of new songs for inclusion on a forthcoming album. I'm lost without a band though - always loved being in a band - I play rhythm guitar and usually sing lead vocals. Just recently appeared on ABC radio playing and singing a song I've written for inclusion in the album. I've played with some of the biggest names in the business - and just as happy playing with folks who are only starting out. Music and the making of it is what it's all about. EQUIPMENT

Two electro acoustics, one crappy amp, two studio mics and mic stands and a heap of ancillary things which I can't even remember. Oh I've got a small Behringer portable digital mixer for recording into a lap top. Bascially I can get any piece of equipment I need - but haven't invested in much yet as I'm really only starting out again here in Australia after moving from Scotland (Long story), so everything has been scaled down.
