We are OSHIE.
We gig, we have access to a studio, we have music on spotify.

Our drummer recently left due to disinterest, so we have a few options.

Our lead singer is a great drummer, so if we can get another good songwriter who can sing and play guitar, then we could go that direction.
OR, we could get a great drummer, and continue with our current singer/ guitarist.

We want to collaborate, and write songs together. We are rooted in theory, and some of us have fantastic relative pitch/ good ears, we don't mind if you don't know theory so long as you have a good ear and understand composition. We have our own recording solutions, and we have recorded our own music with these solutions, but we also have a residency at a studio. We had just started building momentum before our drummer left, so we're ready to get back into it ASAP.

Influences

Almost everything. From Deftones to Hiatus Kaiyote. Post-punk/ jazz/ thrash metal/ melodic music/ alternative pop. It's all good so long as it's inspiring.

Members Of Band

Liam - Our lead guitarist, our theory mastermind, super reliable.
Dan - Bass player, cool dude, stagehand, knows a lot of people.
Joel - Singer/ guitarist, competent and experienced. Can also play drums, basically manages the band/ records and does our promo/ press.

EQUIPMENT

We use Egnater and Marshall amps, and ashdown bass amps. Think mesa with more definition and screaming JCM sound. For drums right now our backup kit is a Yamaha Stage Custom Birch. We also have native instruments kontact/ guitar rig and a bunch more. Home recording setup etc etc
