Hey, I'm Jess.
I was living in Perth recently but have since relocated back to NZ so am not going to be of much use to those of you looking for band-members... but I'll keep this profile here anyway incase I come back at some stage... or for online collaboration :)

I've been playing music since I could reach the piano keys as a toddler. I grew up playing in bands, ensembles and performing as a classical pianist. I studied piano performance at NZSM and Monash over east to get my BMUS. I've been teaching music for 8 years now. I've gigged and toured with artist Rose Wintergreen (known for track 'feet in the sand' featured on Triple J a couple years ago), as a keyboardist and backing vocalist, I played in another duo (with another artist called Die Somnis) in a similar role, and wrote, professionally recorded and produced (with Dave Crowe of 'Resin Moon') a 5-track EP as a solo artist (Ondine) in 2015.
I've been moving around a bit, but now I'm settled in Perth I'm very keen to get back into playing and gigging with other like-minded musicians. I have written so many songs, and am interested in working with vocalists as well as other musicians such as guitarists/drummers especially who have skill with electronic instruments, to perform original songs with..., I could also be interested in supporting other artists and bands with keyboard/backing vocals. I just really want to start playing music again! Keen to collaborate and see how things go :)
P.s I'm most familiar with playing alternative and indie pop/rock, folk, classical and electronic styles. Experimented a little with blues, rnb and jazz but am no expert...I am very musical and pick things up quickly though!
