Hey, I'm Oli and I'm looking to get involved in a covers band and maybe a few originals. I'm a full time post-grad science student so I can't commit to anything huge but a practice and a gig per week would be doable for sure.
I've been playing at home as a hobby for about 5yrs and have started gigging in the last year and enjoyed it so much I want to do some more. I have quality gear - a Fender American Deluxe Jazz V and Ampeg Portaflex amp, with a couple of pedals.

Influences
I'm into rock, alternative, R&B, funk, blues, motown, etc so have a heap of influences. Specific bands/players would include vulfpeck, jamiroquai, RHCP, foo fighters, stevie wonder, muse, stevie ray vaughn, and basically anything by pino palladino, james jamerson, louis johnson, duck dunn, joe dart, etc.
