The Mist is a pop based band that has been performing at various venues around Albany for the last 4 years. Their sets comprise of multiple covers and original songs that they have written and learnt over the years.
The band formed back in 2014 by Matteo Pietropaolo and Alex Clarke under the name “Duo_Time”. The band then decided to change their name in 2016 to Harmonic Fusion as it described their type of music better and symbolised the change that was happening to their music.
In late 2017 with 9 original pieces composed and written and 4 years of experience the band decided to change their name once more to “The Mist”. The Mist symbolises their music style better than any previous name.
If you’re wondering, “Why The Mist?” It’s because, as Matteo likes to say “You never know what is going to come out of the mist.” “Our music is never the same and it’s constantly changing”.
