ABOUT

I'm a spare parts man, musically speaking. Played bass and lead vocal in a cover band, a few duos and currently going it alone after moving to a new area a year ago. I'm vocally strong, pitch perfect with a big range, especially up top but scratchy with my phrasing at times-old habits die hard. I'm directing my energies to my solo repertoire these days with maybe 300 covers (50s-current) and working up a few originals. I'm looking for anyone who may be able to work in and I'm very open to options-harmonies,lead instruments, etc. I don't mind your age, gender, habits, whatever but if you're not equipped or capable enough to earn our hard earned pay I'd prefer not to hear from you. I've put in too much effort organizing this repertoire not to be paid for performing it......I'm currently attending a sound engineering course to facilitate my work, record demos, live sound, etc. I'm also available to sing for a band preferably without having to play an instrument-just for kicks, fun, no expectations but I'm capable enough to deliver and not waste anyone's time, especially in the rock/heavy realms.

Influences

Ridiculously diverse. I love Norah Jones equally as much as I do Slayer. Does that explain it? Vocally I like the big voices- Steve Perry, Lou Gramm, Freddie Mercury. Classic rock is where I call home but I'm really diverse. Led Zeppelin had it all. And we all love Cold Chisel right?
