We are a successful gigging covers band playing in SE suburbs of Melbourne, playing mainly pop / rock covers from the 70s to present day. We are mid 40s to 50s and a similar age would be good. 20 year olds probably want to look elsewhere.
Sadly, our wonderful guitarist has decided to take a new direction so we are now on the lookout for a new lead / rhythm guitarist. We’re normally a 4 piece, so we have drums, bass and vocals covered. If we can find a guitarist that can cover both lead and rhythm then that’s great, although we are open to having two guitarists if that works out better

Must haves…
Great attitude and friendly nature
Experience playing live.
Good lead skills and solid rhythm playing.
Ability to pick up songs quickly. We have a decent sized set list and ideally need to get you up to speed quickly. Gigs waiting.
Decent gear. We put on a good show with a PA, lights etc.
Some stage presence / attitude. We’d love to see you interact with the crowd and help us put on a show.
Nice to haves…
We run in ears and silent stage so experience with this kind of set up is a plus.
Backing vocals.
Must not haves…..
Huge ego.
Marshall stack blasting in the backline.
We typically practice once per week and gig about once per month, give or take.

Influences
Our set list is fairly diverse and we will be very open to you putting forward your song list too. Our vocalist is female and has a fantastic voice so if we can make it work for her vocally then we are always open to suggestions.
