First formed in 1998. The band started playing various Turkish music ranging from Turkish folk to pop music. After a number of years playing live at various gigs NIDA turned its focus to rock music.

The sound of NIDA is a rich sound consisting of modern western rock instruments combined with traditional Turkish acoustic instruments. NIDA writes its own music with the help of all of the band members. The lyrics for the songs are written by Yavuz (the Bass player) and Murat (Lead singer) who chooses to relive memorable and sad episodes of their life through their songs.

Influences

The explosives sounds of NIDA are a collection of Turkish rock music which was created with the influences of the melodies of Turkish rock gods such as Baris Manco, Cem Karaca, 3 Hurel, Edip Akbayram and Mogollar – a style of music labeled "Anadolu Rock". At the same time further influences from modern Turkish rock music artists played a major role.

In need of a keyboard player. We have a Roland XP-30 and a Roland Keyboard amp. Need someone who likes to play in a rock band using classic sounds like organ, rhodes, leslie, piano, softy synths and some background violins and atmospheric effects.
