Late music bloomer. Singing for nearly 10 years, with several years' training in classical style. Also a few years doing backing and lead vocals for a Barossa band - pretty low key stuff - classic rock covers on a mainly social basis. Fun but not enough challenge but all that time allowed.
Keen to explore what else is out there - hope to get involved with new projects to develop friendships and music skills as well as a social activity leading to future gigging.
Trained in jazz and classical but love to mix it up. Will give anything with a great sound, energy and beat a go - from rock to classical and anything in between. Foreign not a problem.
Music interests span most genres. Vocal ability is pretty broad. Ok with classical and folk styles through to jazz, blues, rock and world music and more - just depends on the song and how it can be interpreted. Variety and a great sound are more important than sticking to a genre. Interested in developing skills to produce and perform originals.
