I have a background in jazz, funk, blues, soul etc, and was a pro muso up to my early 30's (playing solo, bands, studio, touring, teaching etc) when I got a haircut and a day job. These days I want to play music that I love with like-minded people, ideally something that grooves. My last project was a yacht rock band, groove based and keys heavy which I loved. Also keen to do some duo / trio work with a jazz singer (+ bass or guitar or drums?) doing our own version / arrangements of popular songs ala "like a version". Looking to do a couple of gigs per month.
