Hi Melburnians!
Our drummer has decided to part ways for personal reasons and we are now on the hunt for our new brother for our Alt/Rock 3 piece outfit.
We typically rehearse once per week within inner central Melbourne area.
We currently have 14 tracks written and released, we would like to start writing again and record professionally but use the existing songs to gig once or twice per month.
We are in our early 40's to mid 50's, all ages are welcome but experience is a must.
We are currently using click tracks so you would have to be sufficient in this and savvy with miking your kit, we will provide everything you will need, IEM system a bonus if you have it, otherwise we can run a hardwire for you, just bring your headphones.
We like to record our live shows as much as we can including our rehearsals so setup time is slightly extensive (20 min) we have simplified it the best we can and ends up very rewarding.
We currently have a 9 track set ready and would love for you to learn the parts on these tracks to get gigging asap but feel free to play your own style, fills and parts.
We do this for fun most importantly but we are quite serious about being professional, love to talk shit and enjoy a bit of banter!
Bassist and I live central, bonus if you do also, if you live in the far south or north, you would have to be good with travelling for weekly rehearsals, gigs, promos and get togethers!
