Multi-Instrumentalist with a firm grasp of musical aesthetics. Not out to steal your thunder, just there to make you sound good. I can read charts or play by ear.
Bass: Playing since 2002, playing competently for at least half of that time. Will play any rock, blues or funk bass line with minimal practice. Can slap it Flea style if that's what you're into. Not a huge improviser, but I like to have fun with whatever bass line you give me.
Drums: Playing since 2006. Can play solid beats with no problem, and I'm good at keeping steady rhythm. I love playing funky stuff with syncopation, but can also do most things from straight rock to swing jazz. Can play with or without a click track. Again, not a huge improviser, but I like to mess around with what I'm given.
Currently working as a high school teacher, looking for a band to gig with on evenings and weekends. Not interested in touring, but I could do a weekend on the road.
