ABOUT

I’ve been described as many things by many people.
I have been making music independently since 1990 and in the entertainment industry since the mid 70s. I also owned a very busy recording studio in Marrickville, Sydney for 12 years.
Got ill, making a slow and gentle comeback, on a disability pension in Lake Mac. I have been converting a 3 bedroom house into a multi room recording studio and musical creative space called Super Custom Sounds.
I am looking to start a trio/quartet with drums, guitar, possibly keys and beats/percussion.

Influences

My parents, some cool musicians I worked with over the years, the weather, pot, occasionally red wine, and sly stone.
At present I’m listening to mix tapes I made in the 90s and random selections from my vinyl collection. Some of the artists have been… Fishbone, Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, Carole King, Booker T and the MGs, Funkadelic, Prince, FNM, the Pixies and the soundtrack to the 70s movie, The Warriors.
