I am essentially a vocalist with an extensive range and can harmonize in both higher and lower octaves and can / do harmonize in layers, with/over my own vocals when recording. I have sung in many bands as well as in duo's and Trio's etc.. Bands like Man Friday, a 9 piece band in the 80's,.doing original material ( Afro-Latin, Reggae, R&B, Soul and Funk) and a 7 piece band called Now and Zen as its lead singer for almost 10 years.One of the 3 singers in a band called 'In 2 Groove' and Heaps of smaller outfits, ( like Friday's Child,.. The Critters etc... ) in the way of Duos and Trios. Currently lead singer in 9 piece called 'The Night Sifters.' (on YouTube ) but looking to undertake other projects seriously with intent to record and live gigs etc. To my way of thinking, Vocals is what any good band is and should be built around !.. The band revolves around it's Vocals / vocalists! I am Now looking to put together a 'COUNTRY, R&B / Folk band ' , with several Originals songs to add to quality American style Country songs / material.... Looking to put together a Quality outfit ...From Trio to 7 piece, Ballads and Country Rock. ( For Trio +, Acoustic to full amplified band ) Must include 2 versatile guitarists( Country / R&B ) ....preferentially who can sing and harmonize.
