We have been making tasty jam since July 2014, re-inventing old-school riff's coated with experimental synth and vocals, blended with hardcore bass and percussion - All whilst touring the Brisbane scene playing shows and supporting some amazing local acts including; Enslaver, Red Ribbon Army, Wildheart, I, The Divide, Set the Record, King Hit the Queen, Glory days, Malibu Stacey, Those Who Endure, Uncle Buck, Trinatyde and Before the Harvest to name as much as we can off the top of our head.
You are likely to see us at New Globe Theatre, Coronation Hotal, Brightside, Foundry Records, Ric's Bar, Jubilee Hotel, Bald Faced Stag, and The Backroom.

SECONDHAND TOOTH BRUSH

Secondhand*Toothbrush are straight out of Ipswich, QLD and proud of it. They liken their sound to a band that is playing music while people listen. On drums is the ever so well timed Phil Skinner, providing a beat that will rock a sock while James Faulkner plays his bass like an angel hitting the rib cage of a dead alpaca in an old cartoon. Axe duties are taken care of by Ashley Jones, and when he isn’t chopping wood, he is wondering what a scale is, and why he needs to know anyway. Jeffro Neville will be the screaming that you are hearing, making sure you know that he is up front on the microphone. The band like calling themselves punk rockers, but probably shouldn’t, as they haven’t quite finished that TAFE course yet. The energy that comes out of their live shows is something to be seen, as the antics these boys get up to will make eyes bulge, and maybe a crotch or two.

Johnny Cyrus and His Band of Ghosts. is a loose association of like minded musicians specialising in what they can only call "Cowboy Drone" - Dark Americana played by Shoegazers with a strong focus on Drone (repetition), Minimalism, Improvisation and Entering Trance State. There are currently 3 permanent members - Zac Mitchell and Tonestar Le Ru - both are guitarists equally sharing roles of rhythm and lead, and Joshua Dawson who plays drums. There is a very Ambient feel. This is natural since the band prefers to focus on atmosphere in preference to music
