Classically trained as a child in piano, violin & cello & I ceased that, however a wide range of music is my love. My voice is oriented towards blues, country, folk & I find myself harmonising easily with these. Have also found myself singing along a wide variety of styles, my own version of what (as it turns out) is referred to as “light language”. While attempting to discover how I’d describe my style now, it would fit as “alternative”, being influenced more recently by singers such as Marie Boine et al. I find myself harmonising well with didgeridoo, as well as Celtic & middle eastern fusion music.... it’s just a matter of tuning in, getting into the vibe & it all starts happening. An advantage of reaching a certain age, is finding myself reaching lower notes much to my pleasant surprise!

Influences
Rock & as mentioned, folk (a range of traditional/indigenous), country (incl dark country), Celtic, middle Eastern, Nordic/Viking, et al. Individual singers also too numerous to mention, however Grace Slick (was an earlier massive inspiration) & Loreena McKennitt et al.
