Been playing guitar on and off since 1999. Used to play in an originals band back in university. Never did a paid gig. Just random parties.

Would really like to start a covers band with a strong repertoire of Top 40 pop-rock/pop-songs from the last years plus timeless classics.

Intention of targeting pubs and clubs initially with a view to corporate events, parties, and possibly weddings in the future.

Would ideally like to work with: 2 guitars, 1 bassist, male vocalist, female vocalist, keyboard/synth player and drummer. If someone can also play trumpet/sax as well that'd be awesome but I don't see there'd be much for a full-time brass section in a Top 40's cover band.

Lots. No really, lots. I listen to everything from The Doors to Ellie Goulding to ZZ Top.

Guns N' Roses got me into guitar along with Alice in Chains, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Hendrix... yada yada yada - the usual list of bands guitar loving teenagers will generally listen to.
