I'm looking for a band to do originals with.
Rhythmically I'm after an outfit with a solid groove (soul/retro-soul/ R&B/funk feels for e.g. Booker T & the MGs/Menahan Street Band/ Funkadelic) with catchy psychedelic/surf melodies on top. Horns a bonus!
Unfortunately I'm not a songwriter, but I do work collaboratively. Looking for a project that is open to mixing up a heap of stuff and everyone having a say.
I’m also really into Cumbia too, keen to bring this into the mix or join a straight Cumbia/Chicha band.
