Hi there,
I am looking for fellow musicians to jam, create new music, talk music/gear and basically spend time together. My main instrument is Bass, I have good knowledge of sound engineering and electronic music production.
I started playing bass in high school (grunge, metal, hard rock) then abandoned it when discovered electronic music and sound engineering. I studied few years to become a sound engineer in the early 2000s ( I was 19). I have been producing electronic music since then and I always played picked up the bass to record a few bass lines for my own productions. I always made music for the pleasure of making music, which started and ended in my laptop, never made it to the outside world.
I am not really restrained to any particular style of music (I know this may sound a bit pathetic) and as a bass player, I always enjoy learning new things. I am able to pick up a simple repertoire without much struggle and can play along if provided with a chord chart.
I am also a father of 2 and would love for the boys to be more involved with music like I was when I was a child, so if you don't like kids around (fair enough!) probably this won't be a good fit.
