ABOUT

Hi,
I'm very keen to meet musicians with the view to forming a band (practicing, recording, itunes, music videos and gigging). I've never played professionally so I'm not specifically seeking professionals (good if you are one). I'm just happy to meet other like minded folk - if it works great!

I sing and play a little acoustic guitar. I also write songs and have a number of originals. I'm happy to do covers but eventually working on original songs is where I'm aiming.

If you play anything or sing I'm interested in chatting about it. I can be casual about practice sessions but in my heart of hearts I'm dead serious about making a real go of it.

Influences

Early Queen, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Buckley, Elvis, Ricki Lee Jones, Norah Jones, Powderfinger, Billy Holiday, Ella, Fats Waller and a lot of old time stuff. I like jazz and funk and some heavier rock but not rap or techno overly. Any music that can be sung with style.
