BASS PLAYER WANTED! We are a five-piece band (vocal, lead guitar, keyboard/rhythm guitar, drums, bass). We formed as part of All Age Music's Adult Band Program a few years ago.
Location: Sydney - Inner West (Marrickville/Stanmore).
Demographics: The current lineup is 50+ males.
Genre: We gravitate around "Alt Rock", but we play a range of genres. We primarily play originals (we have four songwriters), but we also play covers depending on the gig. Currently, we have 20 originals.
Experience: We all have at least five years of experience (some much more). We have played about 15 gigs (mostly Open Band nights) and are looking to gig regularly and record. Ideally, you can reasonably quickly learn and become proficient in our range of originals and covers. We also want someone who wants to continue to grow as a musician and band member. Darren (singer) is into Australian rock, and writing high energy, fast paced and lyrically dense songs, Mario (drummer) is into prog rock (Tool, Perfect Circle, Radiohead) and writing dark songs, Greg (guitar player) is into Dire Straits and writing endless solos, David (keyboards and guitar) is into no specific genres and writing cheerful songs.
