Mario has been working in the music industry as a percussionist and DJ since the early '90s in Panama, and since moving to Sydney in 2000 has been representing his Caribbean & World style through music, events and radio.
Mario’s passion for music began in the streets of Panama City and through decades of study, international work and professional experience he now specializes in many styles of music.
Mario has been Deejaying in various clubs throughout Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart, Barcelona, New York, Xalapa, Nairobi, Panama and other international cities. He is also a regular presenter of World Music and Latin Jazz Radio shows; and as percussionist had played with Australian and international bands like Tito Puente Jr., Los Amigos Invisibles, Los Aterciopelados, Wagner Pa & Brazuca Matraca, La Fiesta Sound System and many more.
