Kirtan Meditation is gaining popularity worldwide for its effectiveness at helping people be peaceful and happy. Kirtan involves a leader who sings in a specific tune, which is then followed by others together with the accompaniment of supporting instruments as shown in the figure below. Meditation is on the Mantra, which is composed of specific sounds meant to release the mind from stress, anxiety and negative thoughts.
