I'm a 19 year old drummer who's looking to start or join a band with like minded and similar aged people.
I likes to play heavier stuff but can also go with lighter stuff. It all depends on what I'm playing along to/with. one thing I like to do is incorporate the tom's into my groves often instead of playing strait beats with a simple 4:4 fill every 4 bars.
I tend to go for deeper drums and darker cymbals. I go for the larger size drums and cymbals which provides deeper and lower pitch sounds and adds more character to each cymbal being larger.
My setup ranges from kick, snare, one or two toms and two or three cymbals to my usual kick, snare, one or two rack toms, two floor toms, hi hats, one or two rides, one or two ride/crash's, two or three crash's.

Influences
Most of my musical influence would come from 66-73 focusing on 68-70. Mostly the heavier, psychedelic and progressive stuff from that period.
I take my drumming inspiration from drummers such as John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Mitch Mitchel (Jimi Hendrix Experience), Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), Ian Paice ( Deep Purple), Ginger Baker (Cream), John Densmore ( The Doors), Nick Mason ( Pink Floyd), Doug Clifford ( Creedance Clear Water Revival).
