Been playing bass on and off since I was 13. I know how to improvise and make some very interesting basslines.

Although I enjoy listening to many extreme genres of metal, my bass playing style is more groove based. I enjoy playing funky, groovy, sometimes bluesy stuff. My influences include, Steve Harris, Geezer Butler, John Myung, Billy Gould, Steve Di Giorgio, Cliff Burton, Bob Daisley and Rex Brown.

I am at a point in my life where I don't really want to join other people's projects and not get to have much creative input. I've posted my basslines here in the hopes of finding musicians who actually want to do something with MY ideas and allow me to maintain creative control over it, because for the most part of my bass playing life I've been playing music other people want to play and I'm actually sick of it.

My recording skills are fairly amateur at this stage - everything here is completely unedited - because quite frankly, there is fu*k-all editing capabilities in Audacity anyway.... and I'm too stupid to learn more complex software without a mentor. What you hear is what you get.

If you are interested in using my basslines for anything, I'd most likely be ok with it - as long as you ask me first and give me credit for it.
