2 members of current well established band in Cairns looking to start side project. We are interested in low tuned, progressive metal and will be striving to create a sound that has both technical musicianship mixed with listenable/catchy ideas. Please take note of our listed influences for a general idea of the sound we will be looking for.
We are currently.looming for a bass player and vocalist (who is fluent with both harsh and clean vocals), access to personal transportation is a must. Owning correct gear for shows is a must. Ability to self record to share ideas is preferable but not necessary. Ideally we would like members who are easy to get along with and versatile in their musical interest (it is likely we will incoperate different genres of music). We would also like to avoid folks who smoke too much pot/have too intimate a relationship with booze; neither member has an interest in sitting around smoking green all day or waiting for lazy people to arrive at band practice on time. Apologies if this seems harsh but this is a situation both of us have dealt with and would like to avoid.

EQUIPMENT
Not sure what to put here. The only thing to consider with what we are doing is that my guitar will be tuned to E1 (bass standard) which doesn't require anything extra from the bass player (instruments will be played in unison).
