Hello,
Guitarist looking to start a band to write original music (and a few covers) in the age range of 23-38.
Looking for people with similar musical tastes and who are interested in writing (and have ideas for) new material.
I'm not looking to join an established band though, unless the musical interests are a fit.
I'd like to keep the door open to lighter classic rock, while also occasionally venturing into high-gain territory, with a preference to spend most of the time somewhere in the middle.
I like melodic and dynamic/progressive music, and I'm interested in experimenting with different time signatures/feels.
I don't plan for set lead/rhythm guitar roles, as ideally this will be shared. (eg. Iron Maiden.)
I have played with a band before but have not gigged.
Personality fit and similar musical interests are essential. I'd prefer meet without instruments first to just chat.
