SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Hi, I'm Ryan
Just trying to find some musicians in my area to jam with, not particularly looking for any serious projects as I don't really think I'd be cut out for much, but I might be interested if I'm really what you're looking for.
I don't consider myself to be very creative, I don't write music or lyrics. However I've been playing covers and tributes for the better part of about 5 years now and what I set out to achieve is the same sound or as close as I can get to what I cover.
My most played material would probably be Weezer and The White Stripes, but it's in no way limited to that. They are just bands that I will sit down with an album playing and play along to it all. My year 12 music assessment was myself and a drummer, we ended up playing lots of White Stripes because of that.
I did two trimesters at Collarts (Australian College of the Arts) in 2012 where I learned how to rig stages and mix live sound, as well as mixing studio so I sort of know my way around Pro Tools but anything I don't know is only a Google search away.
I'm not a great singer but I can hold a note here and there. There's some examples on my Soundcloud.
Thanks for reading guys, hopefully some of you need an intermediate jamming partner with a slight boy crush on Jack White (no homo (little homo)).
