I have been playing for many years but work has got in the way of late so looking for an outfit that will give me a residency of say, one a month, maybe two.
I'm a 'play behind the beat' kind of drummer. I focus on creating a 'groove', playing with dynamics and creating a solid rhythm section but also a heavy 'bonzo' hitter when called for.
Love doing interpretations or 'recomposed' versions of well known songs. I'm known for being able to 'get a crowd jumping' and generally 'keeping the music alive'.
