ABOUT

I am a Jazz guitarist and I have studied at WAAPA (2009). I am putting together an original band. I have written a suite drawing influence from Pat Metheny and Steve Reich (among others), with parts for 12 musicians (Rhythm Section and 8 Horns), that applies subtle odd meter. I am looking to explore other influences in future music such as Snarky Puppy, Led Zeppelin, Bill Frisell, and Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band.
I managed soul / funk cover band (12-piece). I have worked in jazz combos (trio - quintet) and played with and composed for a Big Band (18-piece). I also play with worship teams.
