I've played guitar on & off for most of my life. These days I'm using my time to learn more songs & improve on what I already know. I'm happy doing this on my own, but I'd also like to be doing it with others.
I'd be happy to meet up with people who are doing something similar with a view towards getting together once or twice a week & seeing what comes of it.
If it leads to gigs, that's great. If not, we can still have fun learning & playing together. In my experience this usually leads to a collective desire to perform for others, which leads to doing gigs.
COVID restrictions make this a good time to pull something together & work towards something more substantial.
Some of my friends play golf a couple of times a week. I'd rather play music.
