I'm a pretty good natural singer but I no experience in a band whatsoever. I did a few hiphop gigs (I fancied myself a rapper back then) like 20 years ago but I want to sing these days. I'm just looking for local musicians to jam with. I'm 40 years old, career focused w 2 kids so I have no interest in being a star, I'd be a bit nervous at first as I've never sang with other people before but once I get going, I've got solid rhythm and great energy on a mic. I can honestly say that once I'm comfortable and with a good team of musicians I could be electrifying to listen to. But I don't even really know the basic fundamentals of singing, I just know I sound good singing along to my favorite songs (a bit silly I know but it's true).
