ABOUT

Hi there, I am a female vocalist of 60 years who loves to sing, preform and entertain, after a lifetime of singing at home (to the delight of my husband) I have realized it’s time for me to let my voice soar.
With the help of vocal coaching and singing lessons I discovered I possess a 3-octave vocal range (from A2) and I have found that I have a hidden talent in that I sing with great tone and clarity.
My Experience to date includes preforming with loosely woven for 3 years preforming solos and harmonies at various venues.

I still attend the Big Sing choir at Avalon (which is where it all started 8 years ago) singing, preforming harmonies and solo spots, preforming at a variety of local venues.
I would love to Join a band, an Acoustic set or start something new and gig at local places and venues on the northern Beaches.

Influences

I really like all kinds of music however, I especially love Jazz, Blues, Folk and Thom Yorke all the music that moves your heart and soul, but I also love music you can move your feet too and I love the great classics and are happy to bely out some Fleetwood Mac.
My inspiration includes Jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Nora Jones
Folk- The Seekers, The carpenters and Simon and Garfunkel.
Classic rock-Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd (too many to mention).
Thom York etc.
