Although I'm now 50 I probably think and act musically like a 30yo.
I played mostly rhythm guitar for 20 years and was the vocalist in a couple of bands. My vocals aren't strong but with the right style I get by.
My passion for the last 10 or so years is bass. I love it and really I'm just happy locking into a groove. I like writing simple but infectious bass grooves.
I'm also ok with recording via ableton or more recently I've moved to the iPad and almost exclusively record ideas/demos from there.
I like working collaboratively remotely and in person.
Been in a few cover bands early days and last 15 years Originals. A few gigs here and there but nothing major. I am in a slow moving band at the moment (very slow) and want to join up with people who want to play live and basically just get some stuff happening.
I don't have delusions of grandeur but happy to get semi regularly, depending on the vibe, and work on collaborations remotely, especially with a vocalist.
I like electronic, rock, psychedelic, alt country, almost anything. As long as it's good and has a nice groove.
