I'm 21, been playing guitar for 10 years, didn't start properly learning techniques and how to play anything other than crappy covers until about 5 years ago when I did music as a high school elective and got proper lessons, learnt common scales and how to implement them to create a solo. I grew up listening to bands like Sabbath, Dream Evil and Alice Cooper. Also started playing live at a local pub when I was 15 for a couple of years until the jam nights stopped
