ABOUT

I am a seasoned American musician seeking to slip right into the role of lead singer in a cover band that's ready to gig. I’m mainly a front man singer but also play rhythm guitar well (electric and acoustic). I am a quick learner and am quite good at imitating vocalists. The several songs below, which are recent, hopefully demonstrate that claim.

I live in Woodrising, NSW, but would travel as far as Sydney if the situation was right. I am looking to join a serious, professional band that gigs at least a few times per year. In my heyday I played often in New York City, and the apex was my time in the original band Wild History from 1984-89, who for 18 months garnered the attention of Clive Davis, who is currently the Chief Creative Officer at SONY Music Entertainment (He’s 93 years-old!). It was an exciting time but in the end it was no cigar, unfortunately.

In the last 5 years I've put out 3 CDs of mostly original music under my artistic pseudonym Tom Pained. These CDs were recorded, produced and mastered by me in my home studio. I have a lot of energy, a good vocal range, and love the chemistry of being in a band. I also possess a healthy sense of humor. I’m available any time of the day, basically. however, I don’t have a practice space.
