We are a trio (bass, drums, rhythm guitar and singer) in our early and mid-60’s that has been together for 2 months and are looking for a competent lead guitarist to round out the group. It would be great if you could also do some backing vocals but this is not essential. Though we basically are playing for fun, it’s serious fun: we try to do the songs in our repertoire as well as we can. We’re primarily focused on songs from the 70’s to the 90’s (with a few numbers from the 60s slipping in) At the moment, we’ve got down the following tunes:

When we choose new songs to do, each band member selects one, so we learn 3 new ones whenever we bring in new ones, and of course, it will be 4 with a new lead guitarist. We practice every 2 weeks (Tuesdays – 4-6pm) in Barnsley in the drummer’s garage.
